ELECTRIC PALLET OR TOW TRUCKS ?

ZED has designed an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) system. A sophisticated electronic control unit and servo arrangement which enables the vehicle to move from location to location within the factory or warehouse, automatically.

The system comprises of a control unit, fitted to existing equipment, and a trail of white lines (taped or painted) on the floor.

Because the control unit is fitted to equipment already in use, it can both optimise and enhance the value of the existing equipment. The option of purchasing a new truck along with the ZED control package is still the most economic way to achieve an AGV system.

The system has been designed with cost cutting and convenience in mind as it frees up the operator to perform other duties whilst the truck transports its cargo automatically.
